Are the Motorhomes fully insured?
Our Motorhomes are covered by comprehensive motor insurance. However it does not cover your personal belongings, so we recommend that you ensure you are covered by a personal insurance policy for your peace of mind.
Why do you require a security deposit/bond of £1,000?
The security deposit/bond is refundable upon return of the Motorhome on time,undamaged,with a clean cooker/oven & interior & with the chemical toilet cassette cleaned & emptied. In the event of damage to our vehicle (internally or externally) the £1,000 or part of would go towards the repair. Should the repair be in excess of £1,000 towards our insurance excess. For any insurance claim or accidental damage (internally or externally) £1,000 is your maximum liability.
Can we hire a Motorhome at any time of the year?
Yes, we hire out all year round. All vehicles are equipped with either gas/electric or both heating which is thermostatically controlled from 05*C > 30*C. So even in the depths of winter or you can rest assured that you will keep toasty warm.
Is there a minimum hire period?
Yes, there is a minimum of three nights hire. If you wish to have the motorhome for less you still need to pay for three nights hire.
Do the Motorhomes have to be collected and returned at certain times?
Yes - Our collection times are from 9am to 3pm and return times are between 9am and 3pm Monday to Saturday. These times can vary and we do our utmost to try and get you away as early as possible on your day of departure, but do ask that you return on time so that we can do the same for the next hirer.
Is the Motorhome fitted with a television?
Yes flat screen digital TV/DVD/CD/RADIO Combi units are fitted as standard.
Do the Motorhomes have seat belts fitted?
All of our motorhomes have matching seat belts fitted per berth. For example a six berth motorhome will have six seat belts.
Do you allow smoking in your Motorhomes?
By law and for the comfort of all our customers smoking is not permitted in any of our motorhomes.
How many drivers are permitted and are there any age restrictions?
One driver is allowed within the hire charges. Additional driver can be added. All drivers must be over 23 and under 75 years of age.
Can I leave my vehicle on your premises?
Yes your vehicle can be left with us for £5.00 per day for the duration of your hire, our premises are secure indoor, alarmed and with 24 hour CCTV. This is entirely at owner's risk we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
Would you be able to pick us up from an airport, ferry terminal or railway station?
Yes we can arrange for you to be picked up from all major airports, subject to prior arrangement. The nearest railway stations are Didcot and Oxford.
Do you provide kitchen and dining utensils?
Yes, Crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils are included. As is washing up liquid, dish cloth, tea towel, kitchen roll, cleaning fluid & toilet roll and lots more.
Is bedding supplied with the Motorhome?
You will need to provide bedding, pillows and quilts, but we dop supply the base sheets for all beds.
Do you offer a collection and delivery service?
Yes, for those customers wanting their vehicle delivered it can be arranged subject to prior arrangement.
Are Dogs allowed?
Yes, we do allow dogs but at the discretion of Cotswold Motorhome Hire (Oxfordshire) LTD. We must know two things, its breed and size. If accepted, it’s £20 per dog. Please contact us for further information >>
