With so many great destinations to visit this summer, it can be tough to choose a winner. Do you head for the coast, are you in need of some culture or is there somewhere with a bit of everything? So we thought that we would make it a bit easier for you by sharing our short list of our summer hotspots you should see.
Bath and beyond

If you’re looking for a beautiful and idyllic destination, then go no further than bath. This ancient city was founded by the Romans nearly 2,000 years ago and remnants of their foundations remain today in spectacular fashion.
The city gets its name from the baths that the Romans engineered from natural springs and you can visit them today! Bath is not just the perfect romantic break for two, but also a great family place to go as the area also has lots to offer. Check out Stonehenge, Longleat and Cheddar Gorge! Southport – Victorian splendour
Known for its Victorian splendour and charm, Southport is a lovely town that also has a lot going on. Amongst its historic finery there is still a lot to do for the fan of the contemporary.
It has beautiful beaches, golf courses, theatres and even a casino! Southport also has three theatres and a host of stores for you to shop in. Suggested campsite to stay

Hunstanton and West Norfolk

On the opposite side of the country is the quintessentially is the idyllic region of Hunstanton and West Norfolk.
This beautiful area is home to many historic towns including Kings Lynn – a must visit destination! As well as Kings Lynn, you can also visit the Queen’s delightful holiday residence, Sandringham. This part of West Norfolk has some stunning beaches and you may find them to be less busy than other beaches such as Great Yarmouth. Suggested campsite to stay

Bakewell – A sweet treat from Derbyshire

The place the forged the infamous cake, yes that’s right, Bakewell. The town sits beautifully on the banks of the river Whye in the Peak District National Park and offers more treats than just tasty cake.
Medieval architecture, old markets, cafes, pubs and endless scenery for the photographer in the family - a real treat! Suggested campsite to stay
